Bio

Michael August has been working as a professional entertainer and private teacher for nearly twenty years. Over that time, he has played more than 400 private gigs — graduation parties, dinner parties, and wedding ceremonies and receptions — with a catalogue ranging from classical to modern fingerstyle guitar spanning any decade.

Beyond performing, Michael teaches private guitar and bass lessons to students of all ages, helping dozens of players work toward becoming educated, exceptional musicians.

He lives in St. Paul, MN, and outside of music enjoys hiking state and national parks, video games, disc golf, and traveling.
